Photo(topo)graphy of KL Plaszow

Duration: about 1.5 hours Place: The Fadcism Victim Memorial Price: 150 PLN Booking: Description: The preserved part of former KL Plaszow is a green space today. However, its landscape covers the history of German Nazi forced labour and concentration camp that functioned in the years 1942–1945. The key material that introduces the past of this site is formed by the accounts of witnesses - former prisoners, and photographs taken both in the time of camp operation and after the war.

During the tour, which is combined with a narrative of history, we will see photographs taken in the wartime. We will introduce participants to the past of the site, and the process of building up archive photograph collections.
