Remembering Sara Schenirer, Antonina Leser, Natalia Bułat and Diana Reiter.
The tour is aimed to provide a view on the history of former KL Plaszow space through the prism of tales of 4 exceptional women whose 20th-century fates are inseparably connected with the site. The tale of Sara Schenirer includes basic information about Jewish female education in her time and the phenomenon of Bais Yaakov schools; the achievements of Diana Reiter give us insight into the situation of educated Jewish women in the interwar period, Natalia Bułat illustrates the lives of Polish women in the concentration camp system, and Antonina Leser provides an example of pre-war and post-war fates of Kraków Jews. The tour gives the opportunity to build a personal experience of the unique post-camp space at KL Plaszow.

The Jewish cemeteries in Podgórze
The participants in the guided tour will be offered the opportunity to discover the history of two Jewish cemeteries (the old cemetery used by the Jewish Religious Community of Podgórze, and the new cemetery used by the Jewish Religious Community of Kraków), the scale and consequences of their wartime devastation, and the forms of their commemoration that can (or cannot) be observed in physical space.
